An all-purpose 5 String bass guitar with a 21-fret maple neck and neat 4-over-1 headstock tuner layout, offset double-cutaway ash body, highlighted by a Flame Top Brown Burst finish and contrasting 3-ply scratchplate.
A highly useable variety of bass tones are available from the chunky and versatile single pickup unit which features a double coil layout. Onboard 3-band active EQ circuitry with master volume offers high-power bass sounds, whilst the solid and substantial raised-tail bridge layout gives maximum player comfort to both fingerstyle and plectrum users.

The combination of a chunky Wilkinson® double coil bass pickup and powerful 3-band onboard EQ, controlled by active bass, mid and treble rotaries, takes the sound of the Vintage EST96 active basses from smooth and mellow traditional bass guitar tones all the way to super-funky contemporary grooves.
