The Vintage V72 ReIssued semi-hollow electric guitar is one of the most versatile electric guitars available.

From ice-pick highs to the depths of syrupy jazz chords, this style of guitars have always had all the answers, often referred to by the professionals as the ‘sonic-problem solver’ in the studio and live stage performance.

Whilst effortlessly delivering the unmistakable classic chime and twang associated with this iconic design, the V72's lightweight chambered alder body acts as a natural acoustic soundbox, adding a noticeable low-end boost and warmth to chords and solo note runs. There’s also enough acoustic projection via the F-hole for unplugged couch noodling.

Hardware features that have made this semi-hollow model immensely popular with guitar players around the world include, a Wilkinson WTB Alnico Single Coil pickup at the bridge, the ideal choice to enhance the classic chime and jangle, whilst a Wilkinson WDG Ceramic Mini Double Coil in the neck position, is perfect to enhance the natural smooth warm, low-end frequencies as the strings resonate through the chambered body.

Modern hardware includes the time-tested and innovative Wilkinson WVFS intonatable bridge and Grover Deluxe machine heads, providing quick string changing and effective action for maximum tuning stability.

With a beautiful Laguna Blue high gloss finish with colour-matched headstock, the Vintage V72 semi-hollow guitar is visually stunning. Additional aesthetics include, precision cut body F-hole, cream body binding offset with mint scratchplate and chrome hardware.

The Vintage V72 ReIssued maintains all the sonic characteristics associated with semi hollow lightweight guitars, without compromising tone, output or playability. It's perfect for a host of musical styles from country to jazz, blues to rock, and with a ‘soft C’ profile maple neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it almost plays itself, but not quite.

We’ve left that to you, to dig in and enjoy one of the world’s most versatile electric guitars.

Whether you're searching for your first guitar or your last, the V72 is a keeper. Play on.
