The Vintage VS63VCR electric guitar is designed for the player who demands a little something extra. Expanding on the exquisite tonal palette of its predecessor, the VS63VCR features a triple pickup configuration, taking you beyond the boundaries of tradition, and presenting you with hitherto unheard tones and new sonic possibilities.
Featuring an ingeniously designed drop shoulder and offset heel to provide improved access to the upper frets, the VS63VCR sports three Wilkinson® double coil pickups, giving you more variety, more expression, and more tone!
Every VS63VCR solid body electric guitar is equipped with premium-quality, chrome Wilkinson® hardware; smooth and reliable WJ44 tuners tuning keys come as standard, whilst a chrome Wilkinson® Tune-O-Matic® bridge and Graphtech® Nubone XB nuts combine to provide maximum tone transfer for the ultimate in endless, singing sustain. The VS63VCR utilises a traditional twin tone and volume pot configuration, with a three-way selector switch choosing between the trio of Wilkinson® double coil pickups.
The instrument's standout feature is the inclusion of a Wilkinson® Vibrola bridge system; the Vibrola allows you to impart even greater expression on your playing, adding vibrato and note-bending capabilities, further complementing the expanded tone choices made possible by addition of the middle pickup.
For the player looking for a hefty tone in a lightweight solid body guitar, with the ability to coax everything from lyrical lead lines to crunching chords from their instrument, the Vintage VS63VCR solid body guitar offers a triple dose of glorious guitar tone.
The VS63V™ is an original Vintage® ReIssued Series guitar, based upon a design created by Trev Wilkinson and the UK Vintage design team.
This guitar has a separate volume for each pickup with a master tone. The toggle switch is a 3-way.
Treble setting = Bridge + Middle
Rolling off the middle volume control will give you just the bridge
Middle Setting = Bridge + Middle + Neck
Rolling off the middle volume control will give you just the bridge and neck etc.
Rhythm Setting = Neck + Middle
Rolling off the middle volume control will give you just the neck
