Rewind to 1968. Famous guitar god uses this pedal to record his first album. Entire planet goes nuts. Inexplicably, the pedal then disappears. Until now.

Danelectro® resurrects this awesome, incredibly organic sounding pedal.
6 position “Break Up” control takes your guitar signal and slams the front of your amp with increasing punch. Positions 1 through 3 are ear-friendly and have “leave on all the time” potential. Positions 4 through 6 grab you and knock you back against the nearest piece of concrete. But in the most pleasant way.

Caution: Do not listen to this… unless you want it to be your life companion.

Overdrive effect pedal with six fixed gain settings

The Danelectro The Breakdown is an overdrive pedal with a strong character, whose roots are clearly to be found in the classical rock of the '60s and '70s. The analog circuit offers six fixed gain settings for a wide range of different sounds between breaking crunch and juicy distortion. In addition, a volume control is available to adjust the output volume. Last but not least, the Danelectro The Breakdown comes in a hip Relic look.

The Danelectro The Breakdown:

  • Overdrive effect pedal for electric guitar
  • Analog circuit
  • Six fixed gain settings via break-up rotary switches
  • Volume control
  • True Bypass
  • Soft-Switch foot switch
